Rise Of The Tomb Raider: Xbox One season pass includes new tomb and hoard mode
Microsoft has detailed the season pass for timed Xbox One exclusive Rise Of The Tomb Raider, revealing it will include three major single and multiplayer releases as well as weapons, outfits and "expedition cards".
The major releases will consist of a new tomb to be explored in single player called Baba Yaga: The Temple of the Witch, a wave-based mode called Cold Darkness Awakens in which players "combat waves of infected predators". The third major release is Endurance Mode, which will test players against "extreme conditions".
Rise Of The Tomb Raider's season pass will cost $30 according to the US listing (there is also a British listing) and it will be available alongside the game's release in November. Very little else has been revealed about what each major release will entail but there is enough there to make it sound at the very least interesting.
With the releases of Rise Of The Tomb Raider on PC and PS4 coming early and late 2016 respectively, it should be expected that the post-release content appears on both those platforms as well. In the case of the PS4 version, probably as a Definitive or Game of the Year Edition.
Vaguer details of the season pass leaked in early October thanks to a listing on Amazon, which revealed there would be a mix of single player and multiplayer post-release content in the works.
Rise Of The Tomb Raider will be released on Xbox One on 13 November.
