Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart split: Actor's family feel FKA twigs is more fun than ex-girlfriend

Robert Pattinson's family completely approve of his relationship with girlfriend FKA twigs.

The 28-year-old Remember Me actor took the 26-year-old singer, whose real name is Tahliah Debrett Barnett, to his parents' home in Barnes, West London, for Christmas.

According to a report in the Daily Mail, Pattinson's close ones love twigs, even more than his former girlfriend Kristen Stewart.

"FKA is not as clean cut [as Kristen] but that makes her more fun, and Robert can get very serious," a source close to Pattinson said.

It was previously reported that the couple were seen boarding a double decker after partying at the London Fields Brewery in Hackney, East London on New Year's Eve.

In 2012, Pattinson ended his relationship with Stewart, his Twilight co-star and girlfriend of four years, after it was confirmed that she cheated on him with British director Rupert Sanders.

Stewart and Sanders, who worked together on Snow White And The Huntsman, were photographed kissing in the Hollywood hills.

Pattinson and twigs are very open about their relationship and the two enjoyed a romantic night out at a comedy club with a large group of friends on 18 December in Los Angeles.

At the Mercury Music Prize Awards, twigs was asked how her relationship with Pattinson was going, to which she replied: "Very good, thanks."

During an interview with The Guardian's magazine, The Observer, she went even further and called Pattinson "the man that I love."
