Robert Pattinson-Kristen Stewart Reunion: Twilight Author Stephenie Meyer to Help Rekindle Their Romance?

Twilight Author Stephenie Meyer is reportedly concerned about Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart post their split.

The two had played lead characters Edward Cullen and Bella Swan in the hugely successful Twilight series, in the vampire-themed fantasy films, based on novels of the same name by Meyer. The couple ended their four-year relationship after the 23-year-old actress was caught cheating with married director Rupert Sanders last August.

Though they patched up their differences and started dating again, the two broke up in May in what appeared to be a permanent split, after Pattinson pulled out of 27th birthday celebrations planned by Stewart.

Pattinson was recently spotted leaving Stewart's home in Los Angeles, sparking fresh rumours that their relationship could be back on.

"Stephenie Meyer has reached out to both Rob and K-Stew to make sure they're good after the breakup," a source told Hollywood Life, "She's kind of like a big sister to them and they love her, so she's been a perfect person to talk with."

Previously, Meyer had said that she is to be blamed for Pattinson and Stewart's relationship running into trouble.

"Here's the thing: there are some actors who are looking to be world famous, to be that household name, and although they might discover that there are a lot of negative things involved in that, it's what they want," she told the Times then, "But that doesn't apply to Kristen and Rob. That's what makes it kind of ironic and tragic."

"If they had the choice, I've no idea if they'd even do Twilight again. I just don't know. I think this has all come at a heavy price," she added.

Meanwhile, Stewart is currently shooting her new film Camp X-Ray, in which plays a female soldier stationed in Guantanamo Bay.

"After she gets done with Camp X-Ray, Kristen wants to fly a friend or two out of the country on vacation in order to get away from Rob drama, LA, the paparazzi, etc. It's all she can do not to pull a Kanye [West] on the cameras. She's hoping to clear her mind … and not worry about the world," another source told Hollywood Life.
