Robert Pattinson and Mystery Woman: Actor 'Flirting' With Blonde at Nightclub
Recently, after sources claimed that Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are officially a couple again, the Remember Me actor seems to be taking his time enjoying the single life.
The duo were involved in a bitter and public spat, when the 22-year-old Stewart was caught cheating on Pattinson with Rupert Sanders, a British director.
However, some new low-resolution images reportedly taken at the Electric Room in Manhattan show Pattinson "cozying up" to a mystery blonde. Insiders at the venue have reportedly claimed that Pattinson was with the woman for hours, at one point putting his arm around her.
"He had his arm slung around her at one point and they chatted for most of the night. They looked like they were having a great time and the girl was making him laugh a lot," an insider said. "There was about five of them but it looked like Robert only had eyes for the girl. They sat really close to each other on the couch."
The onlooker said that the gestures between the two were innocent and friendly. "He stayed at Electric Room late," one insider told US Weekly." (He was chatting to her) in a friendly way, nothing more. He kept to himself mostly. Rob was in his own world with his friends. He also looked scared of the world. He seemed a bit timid."
"He was hanging out with some friends," another witness said. "(He) was chatting with a table of people drinking beers . . . there were girls and guys there."
Despite reports of reconciliation between Pattinson and Stewart, the two will work separately to promote the final instalment of Twilight movie Breaking Dawn - Part 2, visiting Australia and Japan respectively. Their Twilight co-star Taylor Lautner is expected to go to Brazil at the same time. Earlier, Stewart was spotted at the Florence + The Machine concert in Los Angeles, along with her father.
Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2 is directed by Bill Condon and the series is based on the best-selling novels of Stephenie Meyer. The worldwide release is on 16 November.
