Roger Federer v Gilles Simon, Wimbledon 2015: Where to watch live, preview and betting odds
Roger Federer and Gilles Simon square out in the quarter-final stage of the 2015 Wimbledon grand slam tournament on 8 July.
Where to Watch Live
The game starts at 1pm BST. Live coverage of the match will be on BBC One.
Overview
Federer did not have to break sweat as he dispatched Roberto Bautista Agut in the fourth round to reach the quarter-finals, where he has been pitted against Simon. The 17-time Grand Slam winner will be looking to add more to his trophy cabinet with the other top seeds also making progress in the tournament.
The Swissman has a long-standing relationship with Simon, and has met him seven times thus far, with Federer having the lion share of the wins at 5-2. However, he will have to be wary of Simon, who played the game of his life against Tomas Berdych and beat him in straight sets to open up a date with Federer in the quarter-finals.
Simon will have to replicate his best form to be able to pose any threat to Federer, who has been by far the most dominant player in the tournament. However, any upset here will go down in history as among the most talked about games in the legacy of Wimbledon.
