Where to watch live
The match is expected to start at 2pm BST. Live coverage is available on Sky Sports 2 and Sky Sports 2 HD in the UK. Live scores and real time updates are available on the ATP World Tour's official website.
Overview
Federer returns to action for the first time since the Australian Open as he takes on World No 38 Garcia-Lopez. After twisting his knee while running a bath for his twin daughters, Federer was out for three months keeping him out of tournaments in Rotterdam, Dubai as well as the Indian Wells Masters. The four-time Monte Carlo Masters finalist comes into this tournament well rested and it will be interesting to see how he goes about his game after a long lay-off.
A quarter-finalist in the 2014 edition, Garcia-Lopez has had a steady if not exciting 2016 so far reaching the quarter-final of the Morocco Open and the third round of the Australian Open. The Spaniard has three clay court titles to his credit. With Federer coming into this game on the back of an injury, this will be Garcia-Lopez's best opportunity to get the better of his opponent.
