Overview
Federer struggled against Guido Pella in the first round, eventually scraping through. He got a lone break of the match in the penultimate game to triumph 7-6(5), 7-6(3), 6-3. A match against an opponent ranked 772 in the world should be no contest, but Willis has shown that he cannot be taken lightly. It is very unlikely that there will be an upset. All the same, anything can happen in sport as Iceland showed recently with their monumental victory over England at Euro 2016.
