Rolling Stones' Ronnie Wood to become father again at 68
The Rolling Stones' guitarist Ronnie Wood is all set to become a father again, this time to twins at the age of 68. The twins with third wife Sally, are due to be born next June.
A spokesperson for the band said: "Sally and Ronnie Wood are delighted to announce that they are expecting twins in June 2016. Needless to say, they are thrilled and overjoyed with the wonderful news."
Theatre producer Sally, 37, and Wood started dating in 2012 after being friends for nine years when they met backstage at the Theatre Royal, where she was working at that time. They were married at the Dorchester Hotel in London within six months. Rod Stewart was the best man
In addition to four children, Wood has nine grandchildren. His eldest son Jesse, 38, from his first marriage to former model Krissy Findlay, is married to TV and radio presenter Fearne Cotton.
He has two other children, Leah, 36, and Tyrone, 30 with second wife Jo. He also adopted her son Jamie, 41, from a previous marriage.
Wood has been reportedly sober since his eighth stint in rehab in 2010 and this has been credited to Sally who has never taken drugs and barely drinks. In a Hello! magazine interview, she said the couple did not notice their 31-year age gap. Wood however has admitted that his wife does sometimes gets mistaken for his daughter.
