Rosie Huntington-Whiteley on life with Jason Statham: 'It's a frenzy walking down the street with him'
Rosie Huntington-Whiteley has told Net-a-Porter's The EDIT that it's hard to go about her daily life alongside her boyfriend Jason Statham because of his obsessive fans.
"People go crazy for Jason," the supermodel stated to the magazine. "It can become a frenzy walking down the street with him."
Even things such as popping out to get their food shopping is hard for the recognisable couple these days. "You can't always do the right thing...People will say, 'What do you mean you don't do your own grocery shopping?' But I go to the supermarket and there are 20 photographers watching it. Doing normal stuff just isn't the same."
Whiteley understands the public's fascination with Statham, 47, however, and explains how it can be difficult to handle when some even regard him as someone they know or could be friends with.
"People relate to him and feel like he's the guy they grew up with, so it's tricky."
The 28-year-old has been dating the Crank actor for five years and has recently bought a house to share with him in Beverly Hills but Whiteley is unsure whether they will settle there for good, particularly if they're thinking about children in the future. "Having a family is something I think about for sure, and whether I'd live here in America or in England, but it's not always as simple as that."
She went on to reveal she's not in any rush, but rather intrigued to see where life will take her. "I have no idea what will happen," she confessed to The EDIT, "but it'll be interesting to find out, right? And nothing will be perfect, I'm sure."
Whilst predominantly a model, Whiteley had her acting debut in 2011's Transformers: Dark Side of the Moon and is currently promoting her second motion picture, Mad Max: Fury Road which is hitting UK cinemas 14 May.
