The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, dubbed 'WillKat' by local media, attended a cricket match at the Oval Maidan public park in Mumbai and met children from slums across the city, as well as people from the charities Magic Bus, Childline and Doorstep – three non-governmental organisations.

Kate Middleton sportingly ran around cones while playing games with local children. The match was played with cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar. Prince William was caught out early by one of the children. The Duchess wore a long pink and green dress by Mumbai designer Anita Dongre, paired with a pair of beige wedges. Kate took a good swipe at the first ball bowled by Sachin but was unfortunately caught out by the next ball, much to the disappointment of the crowd.
