Rupert Murdoch has snapped up four floors of a Madison Square Park condominium tower in Manhattan for $57.3m, after the Newscorp boss lost his plush Fifth Avenue New York City apartment in his divorce settlement to Wendi Deng.
According to Murdoch's spokesman, Steven Rubenstein, the 82-year old tycoon has bought two units at One Madison, a triplex penthouse spanning the 58th through 60th stories and another full-floor apartment beneath it, reported Bloomberg.
StreetEasy.com, a listings website, revealed that the exclusive 53 units at One Madison, come with luxury amenities such as a butler service and an indoor pool.
According to real estate group Related.com, the condo sits at the nexus of New York City's most affluent neighborhoods – Flatiron, Gramercy, NoMad and Chelsea.

One Madison also has "luxurious services", including the One Club, a private residents-only club "offering an elevated level of personal service".
