Russell Wilson confirms Ciara's pregnancy with a romantic Instagram post

After much speculation and rumours about Ciara's pregnancy, husband Russell Wilson took to social media to confirm the news. The NFL star confirmed that Ciara is expecting her first child with him via an Instagram post.

The image posted by the quarterback on the social media site shows him holding his wife tenderly in his arms and both of them holding on to Ciara's tummy. He wrote, "The Greatest Blessing of All. Forever Grateful.#BabyWilsonOnTheWay ."

Ciara shared the same black and white image of them snuggling, and wrote, "On this special Birthday I received an abundance of love from friends and family... and I'm excited to finally share one of the greatest gifts of all that God could give...". Alongside the message she used an infant's face emoji and that of a baby bottle thereby confirming she is pregnant.

This will be Ciara's second child as she has a two-year-old son, Future Zahir, with rapper Future. The model and NFL quarterback tied the knot in a lavish castle themed-ceremony in England on 6 July 2016.

Previously, the singer opened up about her marriage with Russell in an interview with Legend magazine. She said, "I definitely can say it was two of the most perfect days in my life. The day before and the day of the actual wedding was a special time. It was honestly so beautiful and I really felt like I was in a fairy tale."

Admitting that she is "still floating" the 30-year-old singer said, "Everything I could have hoped for, dreamed of, happened on that day. It was memorable. We spent two days with all the people that we love — your family and your close friends. I'm definitely still floating. It's only three months ago and it's crazy how time goes by."
