Ryan Gosling, Eva Mendes breakup rumours: Is Rachel McAdams behind couple's soured relationship?

Just months after their daughter Esmeralda Amada's birth, Hollywood couple Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes are reportedly headed for a breakup.

Apparently, Gosling's strong relationship with his ex-girlfriend Rachel McAdams is the reason why the couple is fighting, Radar Online reported.

McAdams, Gosling's Notebook co-star, called to congratulate him after his baby girl's birth which was not appreciated by Mendes.

"Rachel had the best of intentions when she called, she wanted to congratulate Ryan on the baby, but also to find out how he was doing," an inside source said, according to Radar Online.

"It caused a big scene," the inside source added. "Now Eva's banned him from taking Rachel's calls."

According to OK Magazine, the Notebook star and his Cuban-American actress girlfriend are "barely talking to each other". Apparently, motherhood has taken a toll on the romantic relationship between one of Hollywood's hottest couples.

"Instead of coming home every night to them, he's jetting back and forth just so he can see his daughter," sources told the magazine.

"The last time Ryan was in LA he told her that she and Esmeralda needed to get outside for some fresh air, but she just wouldn't listen."

The 34-year-old Crazy, Stupid, Love star is currently busy filming his upcoming movie The Nice Guys in Atlanta.
