Salman Khan engaged? Arpita Khan responds to Bigg Boss host marriage reports

Bollywood actor Salman Khan's sister has responded to rumours that he is engaged to Romanian beauty Iulia Vantur. Arpita Khan took to Twitter to squash the reports.

It was previously reported that Vantur's PR claimed that she is secretly engaged to the 49-year-old Dabangg actor. Adding on, sources said the pair will tie the knot in 2016. Arpita tweeted: "Do not believe everything you read in the papers or on different websites online... Really ya what rubbish do these people keep carrying."

The Kick star, who has previously dated Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, said he is open to marriage. He said: "I always get so close to a wedding. God has been very kind. You can ask most married men and they will tell you what I mean. But one day my luck will run out. I hope it runs out soon. But more than marriage, having children is on my list. If I can figure out how to have those without marriage."

In 2014, the Bigg Boss host set tongues wagging after he hinted that he might marry a foreign national. He said: "Now I'm in transit period and I like it. From the age of 15, I did not get a transit period. For the first time, I have such a chance to sigh. I am sighing more since it has been two-and-a-half years. It's time to stop sighing because something soon will happen in my life."
