Salman Khan says Shah Rukh Khan is 'more than welcome' on Bigg Boss 9
Bollywood star Salman Khan has once again proved that there is no bitterness between him and actor Shah Rukh Khan. While promoting the upcoming season of Bigg Boss, India's version of Celebrity Big Brother, the Bajrangi Bhaijaan star said that his Karan Arjun co-star was welcome to publicise his next film titled Dilwale, which is due for release on 18 December.
"If he has the dates and he wants to come on the show, he is more than welcome," the 49-year-old actor said at a press conference.
He also said that he would love for the Chennai Express star to go inside the "house" and meet the contestants. "If he wants to come and spend time with the contestants, he is more than welcome to do that," Khan said.
However, the Dabangg star made it clear that he would not put pressure on King Khan to appear on the show. "It is completely his [Shahrukh Khan's] call whether or not he wants to promote his movie... I would put it this way," the Ram Ratan Dhan Payo star said and added, "Not that I would love him and want to come on the show and all that because it is carried away in a different thing and there is pressure put on him and all that. So if he is coming he can come, promote, have experiences go and have fun, chit chat with contestants and give them his life's experience. He has got a lot of experiences in life."
Bigg Boss season 9, will premiere on Colors on 11 October, and stars usually make an appearance on the show to promote their films considering the popularity of the controversial reality TV show.
