Samsung Galaxy J1 low-end smartphone surfaces in leaked images, expected to be launched soon

South Korean technology giant Samsung is rumoured to launch a low-end smartphone to cater to buyers on shoestring budgets, called the Galaxy J1.

Now, the smartphone has surfaced in multiple leaked images that hint at an imminent launch.

According to a SamMobile report, where the images have been released, the Galaxy J1 smartphone will herald the beginning of an entirely new Samsung Galaxy J series of smartphones, and the handset will bear the model number SM-J100.

The technical specifications of the Samsung Galaxy J1 are yet to surface officially, but the SamMobile report lists multiple key tech-specs of the smartphone, which are mentioned below:

On paper, the device looks custom-made for first-time smartphone buyers looking at purchasing an inexpensive smartphone.
