Samsung Galaxy S6, S6 Edge get price cut in US hinting at Galaxy Note 5, S6 Edge Plus launch
After technology giant Samsung drastically reduced the prices of its Galaxy S6 and the S6 Edge in Europe, apparently to restructure sales of these smartphones, prices of both the high-end handsets have now been slashed in the US as well.
T-Mobile has reduced as much as $100 from the 32GB and 64GB variants, and $200 from the 128GB edition of both Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge.
The latest reduction in prices is applicable on the full retail price of both the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge.
Prior to the price reduction, T-Mobile's Samsung Galaxy S6 retailed at $679.92 (32GB), $759.99 (64GB) and $859.99 (128GB). The Galaxy S6 Edge retailed at $779.76 (32GB), $859.83 (64GB) and $959.83 (128GB) respectively.

The reduced prices of T-Mobile-driven Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge are applicable instantly, and this development also hints at the launch of Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge Plus during Samsung's Unpacked event scheduled to be held on 13 August at New York City.
