Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Plus aka Galaxy S Tab Features Leaked
Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 will reportedly be named as Galaxy S Tab.
The purported photos of Samsung's long rumoured Galaxy Tab 3 Plus have been leaked online revealing the features of the device.
The South Korean tech major will reportedly name the Galaxy Tab 3 Plus as Samsung Galaxy S Tab, as noted by Sammobile. Considering the huge popularity of its Galaxy S Series smartphones, Samsung is expected to follow the similar knowledge and marketing strategies to the upcoming high-end tablets.
The Galaxy S Tab, as rumoured earlier, will be available in three variants with model number GT-P8200, GT-P8210 and GT-P8220 respectively. The tablet looks very much similar to the new Galaxy Note 8.0 announce at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) event scheduled in February at Barcelona.
The tablet is expected to feature a 10.055in display with resolution measuring 2560 x 1600 pixels, giving it a pixel density of 300 pixels per inch (ppi). The display could be either PLS LCD or Super AMOLED Pentile.
The Galaxy S Tab will use company's Exynos 5410 chip featuring an octa-core processor, paired with Power SGX 544MP3 graphic unit. The Exynos 5410 also features 2GB of LPDDR3 RAM.
This is unlike earlier rumour, which claims the Galaxy Tab 3 Plus with model number P8200 would be powered with Exynos 5 chip featuring a dual-core Cortex-A15 processor, with each cores running at clock speeds up to 1.7GHz.
The latest disclosure also suggests that the tablet will be available in two storage variants 32GB and 64GB with microSD card support for additional storage. Moreover, the device will run with a bigger battery of 9000mAh.
The Galaxy S Tab will have a high resolution rear-camera of eight megapixel and a front facing camera of two megapixel with auto-focus. Both the cameras are said to be capable of recording 1080p video at 30 frames per second (fps).
Currently there is no information available on the definite date for announcemnet as well as the market release of the device.
