Samsung seemingly rolling out Galaxy S6 Edge Plus features to Galaxy S6, S6 Edge users in Europe, Korea
Samsung, which recently released its latest flagship, the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus in multiple countries of the world, now seems to be taking the most important software features of its new smartphone to its earlier Galaxy S6/S6 Edge smartphones.
According to a SamMobile report, Samsung has begun seeding features like updated icons and Apps Edge, to Galaxy S6/S6 Edge users in Europe and Korea.
According to the SamMobile report, Galaxy S6/S6 Edge users can also check out for the much expected Samsung Pay functionality on installation of the latest update. A brand new user interface (UI) can also be checked out.
Samsung's latest update can also be manually downloaded, via SamMobile. Samsung Galaxy S6/S6 Edge users should remember that features such as saving images in RAW format in the camera app and shutter speed control will not be added with the latest update. But, users can still get the YouTube Live Broadcast mode, in the absence of the feature to save images in RAW format in the camera app.
Samsung has not made the latest update official for users of its Galaxy S6/S6 Edge. The software is also yet to reach other countries such as India, US and Australia.
