Samsung SM-G906A Spotted Running Android 4.4.3 in AnTuTu Benchmark
A new Samsung smartphone with model number SM-G906A has been spotted running Android 4.4.3 in a recent AnTuTu benchmark, according to a report on G4Games.
It is not yet clear if the reported smartphone bearing the model number "SM-G960A" is indeed the Galaxy S5 Prime which was first spotted by @evleaks.
According to the leaked screenshot pertaining to the AnTuTu benchmark, the said smartphone features a 5.2in display with a native resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. This is contrary to the Galaxy S5 Prime that is rumoured to come with a QHD (2560 x 1440) display.
In addition, the SM-G906A features a Snapdragon 801 processor clocked at 2.5GHz, an Adreno 330 GPU, 2GB RAM, 16GB of system ROM and 16MP camera.
The above specifications clearly hint that the SM-G906A could actually be the Galaxy S5 Active, which was previously identified with GM870 model number.
On the contrary, some features such as Android 4.4.3, 16MP camera and a Snapdragon 801 processor match up with the rumoured specs of the Galaxy S5 Prime.
Thus, it is still unclear if the alleged smartphone is Galaxy S5 Prime or S5 Active. However, one thing is sure that the smartphone will run Android 4.4.3 out of the box.
