Savile Scandal: MP implicates 'senior aide with links to No 10'
As the Jimmy Savile sexual abuse allegations continue to rise. Questions are being asked if he was part of a much wider and select paedophile network of high profile individuals. Who may have assisted Savile, helped organise abuse, cover it up or taken part in assaults themselves.
Outspoken West Bromwich East MP Tom Watson's spoke out at Prime Minister's Questions to a shocked house, with a name who has been implicated with Savile. Believed to be a "senior aide" still living, with links to a former Prime Minister and to a man who imported child pornography into Britain from abroad. In reply, Prime Minister David Cameron pledged to any assist any efforts to cast more light on the matter.
In light of a paedophile network allegations, the former MP Edwina Currie spoke out at the weekend, claiming that Margaret Thatcher's former parliamentary private secretary, Peter Morrison had inappropriate sexual relations with teenage boys. Police officers, arresting Morrison more than once, for pestering boys for sex, in public toilets, who were then reprimanded by bosses. Morrison died in 1995, three years after leaving public life.
Which prompted Tom Watson to write on his blog,: "I am not naming the person for obvious reasons but for clarity it is not former MP, Peter Morrison. He added, I'll say more when I can but this may not be for some time."
