Scandal Season 4 Episode 6 'An Innocent Man' airs tonight and the highlight of the new episode will be Abby asking Fitz about Jake's whereabouts.

Jake's disappearance is clearly affecting Olivia and that is when her estranged best friend and ex-colleague Abby Whelan decides to intervene, reports Us Weekly.

In the upcoming episode's sneak peek (below), current White House Press Secretary Abby is seen timidly approaching Fitz in the Oval Office to discuss Jake's disappearance.

"What about him?" Fitz asks Abby. "He was taken into custody two days ago and hasn't been seen since," she replies.

The 'out-of-line' enquiry upsets Fitz. "You just thought you'd stroll on into the Oval Office and ask the Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces about something you have no security clearance for," he retorts.

To this Abby boldly responds that she is not asking the Commander in Chief but the married man who used to sleep with her friend what exactly he has done with "the man she is currently sleeping with."

Official synopsis for "Scandal" season 4 episode 6 reads:

"Olivia is summoned by a convicted assassin who claims he was wrongly accused, and Mellie becomes intrigued by a former first lady whose stories seem to be strikingly similar to her own. Meanwhile, Elizabeth inches closer to corrupting the White House and Fitz makes a shocking move."

'An Innocent Man' airs tonight, Thursday (30 October) at 9.00 pm EST on ABC.
