Scott Eastwood pays tribute to Paul Walker and says it is a dream come true to be part of Fast 8
Previously, Eastwood had disclosed how Walker's death had impacted his life.
Scott Eastwood has paid tribute to Paul Walker who died in a tragic car accident at the age of 40 in 2013. The Suicide Squad actor said that the late Fast And Furious star was one of his "best friends".
"Paul was one of my best friends and to add to his story, to be a part of his family and all the great people and cast that are there, it's like a dream come true," the 30-year-old actor told E! News when he walked the red carpet at the Suicide Squad premiere in New York City.
In April, Eastwood had disclosed as to how Walker's death had impacted his personal life.
"Paul was a close friend of mine," he wrote on Instagram. "We surfed together, traveled together, and he was a huge role model and influencing figure in my life when I was younger. He still is. He was an older brother to me. For me to be able to add to the F&F story, Paul's story, and the FAST family is like a dream come true."
Eastwood was rumoured to be dating supermodel Adriana Lima, who recently split from her boyfriend Joe Thomas after dating for a year. When the two were spotted flirting at Catch restaurant in New York City on 13 July, reports suggested that they – Eastwood and Lima – could be dating.
"The two were close and affectionate throughout the night," a source told Us Weekly. "Scott Eastwood and Adriana Lima were always right next to each other and laughing at each other's, assumingly, flirty jokes, and Scott had his arm around her every chance he could."
However, the 35-year-old model's representative has denied that they are in a relationship. "Adriana had dinner that evening with a small group of friends and family; however, Mr. Eastwood was not in attendance," the representative of the model said.
