Scottie filed for divorce from Larsa after 19 years of marriage.
Scottie Pippen filed for divorce from Larsa on 21 October after 19 years of marriage and reports about the reason behind the split are doing the rounds. According to TMZ Sports, Larsa's alleged relationship with Future may have led to her split from the NBA player.
Sources from Scottie and Larsa's side told the website that the latter had been jumping on Future's private jet, traveling with him to various cities, including Las Vegas. Sources added that Scottie's wife and the rapper were very "cozy" recently at Komodo nightclub in Miami.
According to the website, the couple met in August at the Haute Living Color Reveal Party in Miami and have been seen at various places since the event. Sources described their alleged relationship as "casual".
A report in People Magazine also suggested that police were called twice to the couple's Fort Lauderdale home in one week earlier this month. Scottie and Larsa got married in 1997 and have four children together – Sophia, Scotty Jr, Justin and Preston.
Previously, Scottie's attorney Roberta Stanley said in a statement to People, "This is a very difficult time for Mr. Pippen. He is hopeful that the divorce will be swift and amicable. We are respecting his request to protect his privacy and the privacy of his children during the dissolution of marriage proceedings."
A representative for Larsa said in a statement to E! Online, "After careful consideration and 19 years together, Larsa and Scottie have each filed for dissolution of their marriage. Although they are no longer to be married, Larsa remains hopeful that she and Scottie will always do what is best for their 4 beautiful children and jointly raise them with love and respect."
"She would like to thank everyone for their understanding and kindly ask for privacy from the media during this difficult time of transition for her family."
