Seat car of British man on Syria terror list discovered at Rome airport
A car, believed to belong to a man on the UK's terror watch list has been discovered abandoned at Fiumicino airport in Rome.
The vehicle, a British registered Seat Alhambra, was discovered in the in the airport's long-stay car park for over a year before it was found, the local.it reported.
Police in Italy discovered the car belonging to the 37-year-old British man, originally from Sri Lanka, identifying him as being on the terror watch list.
Intelligence operatives believe the man traveled from Italy to Syria in May 2015.
