Sebastian Stan hints at the possibility of Bucky Barnes showing up in Black Panther movie
Bucky Barnes aka The Winter Soldier was a major part of Captain America Civil War, but where will he appear next? Sebastian Stan hinted at his character's appearance in the upcoming Marvel movie while appearing at a panel at Wizard World Philadelphia.
Stan said [via Comic Book], "I don't know, man. I mean, there's obviously a very clear answer but I'm not maybe say it, now. Where did he end up at the end of the movie? That's the movie he should be in."
"I feel like that would be the natural... But I don't know," Stan concluded. Co-actors Chris Evans [who plays Captain America/Steve Rogers] and Anthony Mackie [who plays Falcon/] also joined the discussion. Evans warned Stan by saying, "Be careful, man!" as Mackie added, "You're gonna break the internet tomorrow."
Stan's comments about Bucky's future hint that the Winter Soldier may show up in the Black Panther movie. At the end of Captain America: Civil War, Bucky voluntarily puts himself in a deep freeze at an advanced laboratory in Wakanda as he and Steve realise that uttering a few random words can transform him back into a deadly assassin/ Winter Soldier.
The scene shows Cap thanking T'Challa for his help and also warning him that they will come after him to get to Bucky. T'Challa says with pride, "Let them try," as the scene ends with Wakanda's iconic Black Panther statue out in the distance.
Sebastian Stan's statement about Bucky's ending in Civil War is clearly a tease about his character's involvement in 2018's Ryan Coogler-directed Black Panther movie.
Black Panther is set for release on 16 February 2018. Chadwick Boseman is set to reprise his T'Challa role in the movie. Lupita Nyong'o and Michael B Jordan will also be a part of the movie.
