Security guard brutally chokes and drags away fan at Travis Scott gig
The incident occurred at Power 106's Cali Christmas concert in Inglewood, California.
A fan was brutally put in a chokehold by a security guard at Travis Scott's gig, which was held at The Forum in Inglewood, California, Los Angeles on Saturday, 16 December.
According to TMZ, the security guard put his arm around the neck of the concert-goer to almost choke him after he tried to jump onstage during Power 106's Cali Christmas concert.
A friend of the fan, who also tried to get close to the 25-year-old rapper, was stopped by security guards before the rapper stepped in and met him. However, the fan who was put in a chokehold was dragged away by the neck from the venue.
A video obtained by TMZ shows a man being put in a chokehold by another well-built man dressed in an all-black attire. The security guard can be seen wrapping his arms around the neck of the fan, with the crowd screaming and music playing in the background.
A representative for Scott has told TMZ that the security guard who choked the fan was not part of his personal security team.
Later, Scott and his entourage were spotted at the popular Hollywood hotspot Delilah after the concert. An eyewitness told Hollywood Life that Scott met Blac Chyna, 29, at the eatery, where the duo talked for a while before going their separate ways.
"They ordered bottle service all night, and drank Grey Goose as well as champagne. They weren't being hectic, it was a pretty chill vibe... Chyna was also at the club with her girls and they sat in a separate area. She was wearing a pretty outrageous dress, one that was skin-tight and kind of transparent, especially around the chest area! Chyna did stop by Travis' table for about fifteen minutes and they talked for a while, but it just seemed like friendly chatter," the source said.
