Selena Gomez, Taylor Swift Reunite at Met Gala as Justin Bieber Gets Close With Yovanna Ventura

Selena Gomez and Taylor Swift are together again. The former best friends surprised everyone when they reunited again during the Met Gala 2014 at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

The former Disney diva and the country singer were besties for years, but their friendship turned sour when Gomez rekindled her romance with on-and-off singer boyfriend Justin Bieber.

Swift was totally off to watch her close friend going through the same pain over and over again, and hence, parted her ways. The Come and Get It singer retaliated by getting friendly with the Jenner sisters, celebdirtylaundry reported.

Later, Selena went on to unfollow everyone, including Swift, from her Instagram profile. However, after the gala night, Gomez has posted a cute video on Instagram ensuring that the world knows everything is peachy between them.

"Sometimes you wanna just be you with someone who knows all your secrets," the 21-year-old singer wrote. The popstars were looking gorgeous and cheerful in their gala gowns during the annual ball.

"Selena was the one who initiated the reunion with Taylor at the Met Gala. Selena contacted Taylor before the event and told her how excited she was to see her," an inside source told HollywoodLife.

The source also revealed that Gomez has finally realised why Swift wanted her to stay away from Bieber and offered the olive branch to her once best friend.

"She has totally forgiven Taylor for not wanting her to date Justin and now fully understands why Taylor was being so protective. Selena was not about to waste her time when she was having so much fun with Taylor. Taylor has a unique way of cheering Selena up, because she knows her so well and really does look out for her," the same source added.

Meanwhile, Bieber chose to miss the Met Gala and is reportedly hooking up with a brunette model, Yovanna Ventura, with whom he is spending quality time since last few days.

"Justin wanted to meet her. He sought her out. It hasn't been too hot and heavy, but they have been hanging out a lot. Their relationship is blossoming. I wouldn't be surprised if they have now started dating," a close source told ENews.

"He reached out and they started talking in late March. In early April, when he came to Miami they hung out together for that weekend while he was recording in the studio. It was for a couple of days, the weekend. They were getting to know each other," the source added.
