Selena Gomez's new song Feel Me takes her back to 'amazing times' spent with Justin Bieber
It seems like Selena Gomez is finding it really difficult to let go of former boyfriend Justin Bieber. The 23-year-old's latest song titled Feel Me, which was meant to "bring a closure on him", instead has been reportedly flooding her with all the amazing times she spent with the Die In Your Arms singer, when they were a couple from 2010 until their split in 2014.
"Selena took inspiration from her romance with Justin, and when she wrote 'Feel Me' she hoped that it would give her some sort of closure from him," a source told HollywoodLife. "However, it's really had the opposite effect because she's also remembering all the amazing times they had together and revisiting the connection they had and still have."
On the other hand, the 22-year-old Sorry hitmaker is thrilled that the songstress performed the number at her Revival tour in Los Angeles on 6 May. He was the first person for whom Gomez performed the song.
"[Selena Gomez] played 'Feel Me' for [Justin Bieber] before she ever performed it, and he was well aware of all the details from it," another source told the gossip site. "He likes it, especially since it is about him. It is another chapter in their relationship that convultes [sic convoluted] things but also makes him want her again. It is the never ending back and forth that will be their relationship forever. They just can't get over each other."
Further, reports claimed that the two are still in contact with one another, even though she skipped the Met Gala after-party held on 2 May to avoid coming face-to-face with Bieber and his other ex-flame - model Hailey Baldwin.
"Selena and her girls were supposed to go to the after-party at The Boom Boom Room but when she found out Justin was going to be there, she changed her plans. She didn't want to be there with Justin and Hailey. It's a small place and that would just be way too uncomfortable," a source had previously said.
