'Sexy cowgirl' outfit lands Adriana Lima in trouble on Instagram: 'Kill snakes for an amazing look'
Victoria's Secret stunner was dressed in nude underwear, a tassel jacket and knee-high snake-skin boots.
She is a stunner both on and off the runaway! And living up to that reputation, Brazilian beauty Adriana Lima recently took to social media to share a jaw-dropping picture of hers against a scenic lake background.
Unfortunately, the lingerie-clad beauty became the subject of an altogether different debate as fans shared their disapproval of the Victoria's Secret model's attire. Stylish as ever, the 36-year-old model channels her free spirit in nude underwear, a tassel jacket and knee-high snake-skin boots in the sensuous image.
"Invoking my animal totem," she wrote alongside.
What seems to have struck a wrong chord with the fans, was Lima's animal-print boots, which many deemed as cruelty against animals. For all that matters, the model might just be decked in faux leather, but that didn't stop some fans from slamming her.
One critic wrote, "Are you kidding?.. you're wearing animal skinned boots... how are you in any good way representing animals. #noanimalskin."
"How paradoxical. He poses in nature "invoking his animal spirit" but puts on snakeskin boots. Which I hope they are fake," penned another.
As the bout of criticism began, some expressed skepticism over the lingerie model's choice of clothing, writing, "Hope that snake skin is false."
Another social media follower commented, "You are wearing death. Unfollow. #govegan"
"Yah, lets just kill some snakes for an amazing look," slammed someone else.
While the critics might have been a bit hasty with their comments on Lima's animal-print boots, some of the supermodel's fans simply appeared to be in awe of her sizzling style.
As most hailed the mother-of-two as "sexy cowgirl" and "goddess", one user exclaimed, "Holy f**k, this is so hot!!!"
Another praised her age-defying looks saying, "You never get old, always surprising with your beauty! sexy sexy smoking hot."
