Shahrukh Khan Explains Difference Between 'Facting' and 'Acting'

Shahrukh Khan has been an integral part of Bollywood cinema for over 20 years and the actor recently shared some of his learning on the craft, with his numerous fans over Twitter.

SRK believes that acting expresses what you understand and not what you actually know, reports The Indian Express.

SRK hails from a strong theatre background and started his acting career with several critically acclaimed TV series in the late 1980s like Fauji and Circus.

The Chennai Express star, apart from acting in mainstream Indian blockbusters, has been a part of several performance-oriented films like Swades, Dil Se and Chak De India.

The 48-year-old actor achieved stardom playing negative roles in films like Darr, Baazigar and Anjaam. He later went on to become the iconic lover boy with his blockbuster hit Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge.

Shahrukh is currently shooting for his upcoming film Happy New Year which also stars Deepika Padukone and Abhishek Bachchan, among others. The film is directed by Farah Khan.
