Shahrukh Khan fans who are eagerly awaiting the release of SRK's next movie Happy New Year are in for a super surprise on Twitter.

The Chennai Express star seems to be going all out to promote his upcoming film on social media platforms. The Happy New Year team is offering fans a chance to get up close and personal with SRK.

Users can tweet to @iamsrk with @HNY & #HNYTrailer to receive an instant personal message and a custom autographed poster from Khan.

Moreover, on 14 August, they will also receive the movie trailer with a special message from SRK, exclusively on their Twitter account.

Shortly after @HNY and @iamsrk tweeted about this unique marketing strategy, #HNYTrailer started trending nationally.

Happy New Year fans can also tweet to director Farah Khan (@TheFarahKhan) and the rest of cast, including Deepika Padukone (@deepikapadukone ), Boman Irani (@bomanirani), Sonu Sood (@SonuSood), and Vivaan Shah (@TheVivaanShah) with @HNY and #HNYTrailer to receive the trailer with a special message from their favourite cast member on 14th August.

Happy New Year is a comic caper, which reunites the Chennai Express lead pair. The film is slated for release on 23 October, 2014.
