Shahrukh Khan's New 'Don' Look to be Designed by Hollywood Make-up Artists
Shahrukh Khan is putting a lot of effort into getting his look right for his upcoming film titled Raees, co-starring Farhan Akhtar.
For the film Don 2, Shahrukh sported a gun personally designed by Akhtar (who directed the film) to give depth to the character, reports Times of India. This time around, the makers have knocked it up a notch and got a team of make-up artists from Hollywood to work out different looks for Khan.
"They will try out not just different hair styles, but also experiment with eyebrows, beards and scars. The scar will be retained only if it works for the character. There will be no prosthetics, the look will be realistic. The team will be finalised soon and will arrive in a few months time to work with SRK," says a source close to the development.
Reportedly, one of Hollywood's top make-up team has already had a meeting with the film's director Rahul Dholakia.
SRK who is currently busy shooting his new film Happy New Year is quite excited about Raees and will soon sit with the team to work on the detailing. "Meanwhile the makers are doing their homework so that they can present him with some look tests," adds the source.
Shahrukh Khan is known to experiment with his looks for different films. Be it Blonde streaks, overgrown hair, short and cropped hairstyle or the regular clean cut look, the Chennai Express star doesn't hesitate to experiment. For his upcoming film, the star appears to be sporting long hair with a French beard.
Having played a don already, the filmmakers want a new customised look for SRK in Raees, reports Bollywood Life.
The film is set in Gujarat and reportedly revolves around two warring gangs. SRK is reportedly playing a bootlegger while Farhan Akhtar portrays a cop.
