Shahrukh Khan's Next Film - Happy New Year: First Trailer Update
The release of a Shahrukh Khan film is always an event by itself. SRK is known to be a marketing genius when it comes to promoting his movies. After the super success of Chennai Express, Khan's next film Happy New Year (HNY) is already generating a positive buzz and fans can't wait to catch a glimpse of the eagerly-awaited movie. Well, looks like the wait is almost over.
The first trailer of Happy New Year is expected to release on August 15, 2014, reports Zee News. What is more interesting is that the trailer is rumoured to be attached with SRK's arch rival Ajay Devgn's upcoming film – Singham Returns, which is slated to release on the same day.
Devgn and Khan were never the best of friends and their relationship reportedly soured over the release date clash of their respective films - Son of Sardar and Jab Tak Hai Jaan in 2012.
But looks like the two actors have decided to let bygones be bygones. "According to grapevine, SRK visited the sets of Rohit Shetty directed 'Singham Returns' and warmly hugged Ajay. Also, the king of romance took to Twitter, wishing good luck to the team of 'Singham Returns'" states the Zee News report.
As soon as reports surfaced about the HNY trailer releasing with Devgn's film, it became one of the most trending topics on Twitter - with hashtag #HNYTrailerOn15thAugust.
Happy New Year is slated to release on October 23, 2014. Apart from Khan, the film stars Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Boman Irani and Sonu Sood in key roles. The film is rumoured to be a comic caper and is directed by Farah Khan.
