Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello clapped back at online trolls who laughed at the way they kissed by sharing a video of their intense makeout session.

Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello just drove netizens crazy when they shared a video of themselves kissing. This is no simple kiss but one that involves tongue and some spit swapping.

Mendes and Cabello have been mum about the real status of their relationship even as paparazzi photos seem to confirm that they are a couple. They have been packing on the PDA everywhere they went. Now, they confirmed all romantic speculations with a makeout video.

The clip shows the singers explaining about how they read people's comments about how they kissed. Some even went as far as saying that they "kiss like fish." Just to poke fun at the Twitter trolls, the pair decided to show how they really kiss.

"So we saw on Twitter and stuff you guys saying stuff about the way we're kissing and how it looks weird like we kiss like fish," Mendes says in the video.

Cabello chimes in and says, "it really hurts our feelings," then the Calvin Klein model adds, "we just want to show you how we really kiss."

They then lean in for what at first seems like a sweet romantic kiss. But the "Havana" singer sticks her tongue in Mendes' open mouth and he too went for a wet and sloppy kiss. The pair look so into the moment but then the 22-year-old Cabello pulled away and laughed.

It's unclear what reaction the two stars wanted with their explicit video. Twitterdom exploded into various hilarious memes about their intense makeout video. Some were obviously a little surprised while others horrified, to say the least.

Mendes and Cabello's makeout video comes after netizens spoke out after they kissed while performing "Señorita" on stage. The Colombian beauty was there to support the Canadian singer perform at his hometown of Toronto, which capped his North American music tour.

Things got a little steamy for the pair as they started to lean in close to each other and touch each other while they shared one microphone. Of course, the audience screamed and probably went wild when they ended the song with a kiss. It's a kiss on the cheek though but one that still sent fans into a frenzy online.
