Simon Pegg and Mike Myers join Margot Robbie for upcoming thriller Terminal
Simon Pegg and Mike Myers have joined the cast of upcoming noir thriller Terminal. The pair will star alongside The Wolf Of Wall Street's Margot Robbie, as well as Max Irons, best known for his roles in The Riot Club and The Host, and Kick-Ass actor Dexter Fletcher, who have also come aboard the project.
The film will tell the story of two men, Alf and Vince (Irons and Fletcher), who become involved in a seemingly suicidal mission on behalf of a mysterious employer... and the incentive of a large pay cheque at the end of it. Along the way, the unlikely duo run into an energetic young woman named Annie, who is closely connected to the mission herself, much to their surprise, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Vaughn Stein is set to helm the film, having acted as assistant director for several titles across his career including In The Heart Of The Sea, The Danish Girl and World War Z, working from his own screenplay. David Barron (Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows: Part 2) and Molly Hassell (The Trust) are acting as producers, alongside Robbie's real-life friends Tom Ackerley (Grimsby), Josey McNamara (Bastille Day) and Sophia Kerr (Whiskey Tango Foxtrot) under their production company LuckyChap Entertainment. The movie is currently filming in Hungary and is aiming for a cinema release later this year.
Before then, Pegg will be seen in sci-fi sequel Star Trek Beyond as Scotty, opposite other returning cast members Zachary Quinto, Zoe Saldana and Chris Pine. Recently, rumours have emerged that Myers is gearing up to reprise his most famous creation Austin Powers, last seen in 2002, for a fourth instalment of the franchise. Robbie will next star in The Legend Of Tarzan and the eagerly anticipated superhero movie, Suicide Squad.
