Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel claimed a stunning victory at the Singapore Grand Prix to close the gap on Mercedes pair Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg in the drivers championship. Vettel won from pole position during a dramatic race which saw Hamilton retire with a power issues while Rosberg could only finish fourth.

Red Bull drivers Daniel Ricciardo finished behind the German while Ferrari teammate Kimi Raikkonen completed the podium; the first time the Ferrari pair had been in the top three thi season. After Rosberg, Valterri Bottas and Daniel Kvyat came in in fifth and sixth respectively.

Sergio Perez, Max Verstappen, Carlos Sainz and Felipe Nasr completed the top ten. Victory for Vettel sees him Hamilton's grip on his title loosen, with his lead cut to 41 points.
