Sinister scarecrows: Terrifying photographs from the British countryside
Photographer Colin Garrett has shared his unique series of photographs of scarecrows that he took during his travels in the 1980s.
City dwellers and people who may never have seen a scarecrow before have one more day to see them in all their sinister glory at an exhibition at the Geddes Gallery in London's Caledonian Road but they need to be quick as the pop-up show closes today (30 March).
Acclaimed steam train photographer Colin Garrett wanted to share his unique series of photographs of scarecrows that he took during his travels in the 1980s, adding that he hopes that his images will "not only live beyond my lifetime, but will be of interest and value and give pleasure to many other people who unfortunately were born too late to see the magical scarecrow".
