Six Nations: England pair Mike Brown and Courtney Lawes recalled for Scotland clash
Mike Brown and Courtney Lawes have both been recalled to the England team for their Six Nations match against Scotland at Twickenham.
Brown missed the 19-9 loss to Ireland due to a concussion suffered against Italy, while Lawes will make his first appearance in the tournament having undergone ankle surgery in January.
Alex Goode and George Kruis drop out of Stuart Lancaster's starting line-up, while previously injured pair Geoff Parling and Tom Wood are on the bench ahead of Tom Croft and Nick Easter.
"There's always a lot of competition for places and having experienced players like Courtney, Tom and Geoff available after playing well for their clubs in the last few weeks adds to our options," Lancaster said.
"It's been an intense two weeks of training as everyone wants to be on that field on Saturday to put things right after Dublin and we have had to make some tough selection calls.
"Coming back to Twickenham will be huge for us and we are determined to put in a performance against a strong and motivated Scotland team."
England take on Scotland at Twickenham on 14 March before their final championship match against France on 21 March.
