Cats always land on their feet after dropping from a height - but what about from an aircraft?

In a new video, moggies don parachutes and plunge thousands of feet to earth. The film racked up nearly 200,000 views in less than a week.

It was created by Swedish insurance firm Folksam, which carried out a survey to discover what customers wanted to see, and chose the idea of a customer known only as Eva.

She asked for skydiving cats to spell out her name to the tune of I Believe I Can Fly by R Kelly playing in the background.

A number of customers may have just wanted to see lower insurance premiums, but it seems the power of cats on the web users showed itself again.

No cats actually skydived in the advert. But some web users had concerns. One posted on Youtube: "So sad. They should not let cats skydive... So cruel."
