Saturday's Premier League scores:

Manchester United 1-1 Arsenal

Southampton 0-0 Liverpool

Watford 2-1 Leicester City

Crystal Palace 1-2 Manchester City

Stoke City 0-1 Bournemouth

Everton 1-1 Swansea City

Sunderland 3-0 Hull City

Manchester City move level on points with Liverpool at the summit of the Premier League thanks to two goals from the returning Yaya Toure at Crystal Palace. Jurgen Klopp's side meanwhile failed to score for just the third time this season after coming up short against Southampton, who put an end to a run of three straight defeats in all competitions.

Today may prove pivotal in Sunderland's season as they moved to within two points of climbing out of the relegation zone after an emphatic win over Hull City with Victor Anichebe scoring twice. Swansea remain in the bottom three despite leading at Everton for 89 minutes, before Seamus Coleman popped up with a late equaliser to deny Bob Bradley his first win as Swans manager.

Watford scored twice in the opening 12 minutes minutes to send champions Leicester hurdling ever closer to the relegation zone, while Bournemouth picked up their first away win of the season at Stoke City.

Full-time: Sunderland 3-0 Hull City

Full-time: Crystal Palace 1-2 Manchester City

Papy Djilobodji has had a fine game this afternoon but he has just picked up a second yellow card and he is off. He will miss next week's clash with Liverpool.

RED CARD: Papy Djilobodji (Sunderland)

Full-time:

Stoke City 0-1 Bournemouth

Watford 2-1 Leicester City

Everton 1-1 Swansea City

Full-time: Southampton 0-0 Liverpool

It's all over at St Mary's! Claude Puel's side have kept out the free-scoring Liverpool and it means Chelsea could leapfrog them into top spot tomorrow when they play Middlesbrough.

Back-to-back wins for Sunderland! Victor Anichebe has lashed home his second of the afternoon. That's his first brace in the Premier League since 2006!

Goal! Sunderland 3-0 Hull City (Victor Anichebe, 90+2)

We are into injury time in all six of our 3pm kick offs...

Liverpool have thrown Divock Origi as they search for a goal but they are running out of time...

Everton are level with minutes to go! Swansea fail to clear and Coleman loops a fine header over Fabianski and into the back of the net.

Goal! Everton 1-1 Swansea (Seamus Coleman, 89)

It's hasn't been a bad old return to the first-team for Yaya Toure this afternoon. From a free kick, Kevin de Bruyne rolls the ball across goal that bypasses every Palace defender back to defend. Toure is the only one alive to it and is well placed to poke home from inside the box.

Goal! Crystal Palace 1-2 Manchester City (Yaya Toure, 82)

Daniel Sturridge has come on for Liverpool to replace Emre Can. Jurgen Klopp is not settling for a point here.

Sunderland have doubled their lead! Brilliant work from Patrick van Aanholt, cutting a ball back to Anichebe inside the box who smashes past Marshall to get his second goal in as many games.

Goal! Sunderland 2-0 Hull City (Victor Anichebe, 62)

Southampton's Boufal has struggled on his Premier League debut, in an admittedly difficult fixture to come into. His afternoon is over with Shane Long entering the fray to replace him.

Goal! Crystal Palace 1-1 Manchester City (Conor Wickham, 66)

Moments after Southampton passed up a fine chance through Charlie Austin, Liverpool have missed their best chance of the game with Firmino poking wide of the goal after being freed one-on-one. Poor miss.

Watford so close from making it three against Leicester! Janmaat clips a delightful ball into Pereyra who heads towards goal, but can't quite steer it past Schmeichel who tips it away.

Finally, play is back underway at the Stadium of Light.

Liverpool have had their best opportunity of the game in the last give minutes, and it is Coutinho who has been spurned. Having been brilliantly slipped through by Firmino, the Brazil international scuffed his shot under pressure from Fonte.

With some players trudging back towards the tunnel, the lights at Sunderland flash back on and we should be back underway shortly.

The Stadium of Light? Not so much. The stadium lights have cut out at Sunderland and play has been stopped.

MISSED! Stoke are given a chance to equalise from the penalty spot but Bojan cracks it off the crossbar!

PENALTY - Stoke City

Roberto Firmino is not happy after his appeal for a penalty was turned down at St Mary's. Van Dijk was the man tugging at his shirt but the referee turned away his appeals.

And we are back underway in our six 3pm kick offs.

Half-time results:

Watford 2-1 Leicester

Everton 0-1 Swansea City

Stoke City 0-1 Bournemouth

Sunderland 1-0 Hull City

Crystal Palace 0-1 Manchester City

Southampton 0-0 Liverpool

Half-time: Southampton 0-0 Liverpool

Free-scoring Liverpool have been contained so far by Claude Puel's side at St Mary's.

Sunderland could have a big problem here with Paddy McNair down in some pain. The former Manchester United youngster twisted his knee and signalled immediately to the bench.

Swansea have the lead from the penalty spot! Phil Jagielka drags down Sigurdsson in the box after a fine counter from the away side and the Iceland international makes no mistake, sweeping home to give his side the lead.

Goal! Everton 0-1 Swansea City (Gylfi Sigurdsson, 41)

PENALTY - Swansea City

Yaya Toure is back and he is back with a goal! The big Ivorian scores his first goal since March after combining neatly with Nolito before finding the top corner with the help of a slight deflection.

Goal! Crystal Palace 0-1 Manchester City (Yaya Toure, 42)

Goal no. 150 in the Premier League for Jermain Defoe! He gives Sunderland the lead against Hull, capping a neat run with another precise finish.

Goal! Sunderland 1-0 Hull City (Jermain Defoe, 34)

Nathan Ake has come up with a goal on his first Premier League start for Bournemouth, rising above the Stoke defenders to head home Junior Stanislas' cross.

Goal! Stoke City 0-1 Bournemouth (Nathan Ake, 26)

Away from Vicarage Road, there isn't much happening elsewhere in the Premier League yet. No goals anywhere else, no real chances.

Loris Kariyus hasn't had a touch of the ball yet; Liverpool have settled into the Southampton half as the rain drives down at St Mary's.

It's been a bit of a mental start at Vicarage Road. Leicester have pulled one back through Mahrez, who converts from the penalty spot after Jamie Vardy was clipped by Britos.

Goal! Watford 2-1 Leicester (Riyad Mahrez pen, 14)

Liverpool have gained early control of possession at St Mary's meanwhile, testing Southampton's ability to keep their shape.

Watford double their lead! After creating the opener, Pereyra has grabbed a goal for himself, this time cutting in from the left and curling a superb effort into the top corner.

Goal! Watford 2-0 Leicester City (Roberto Pereyra, 12)

33 seconds was all it took for Etienne Capoue to open the scoring at Vicarage Road.

Watford have the first goal of the afternoon! It didn't take long either with Pereyra bursting down the left wing, lifting a cross into Deeney who nods onto Capoue. The Frenchman arrives onto it and volleys into the bottom corner.

Goal! Watford 1-0 Leicester City (Etienne Capoue, 1)

And we are off and underway in our 3pm kick offs this afternoon.

Unsurprisingly, Ronald Koeman has rung in the changes after seeing his side so thoroughly dismantled by Chelsea last time out. Leighton Baines returns to make his first starting appearance since September with Aaron Lennon and James McCarthy also coming in. Idrissa Gueye, who was so badly missed at Stamford Bridge, also returns having served his one-match suspension.

Bob Bradley has seen Koeman's four changes and raised him. There are eight in all for Swansea after their woeful performance against Manchester United. To make things easier for all of us, Lukasz Fabianksi, Gylfi Sigurdsson and Wayne Routledge are the only players to keep their place. Fernando Llorente drops out of the squad completely.

David Moyes makes just one change for today's clash with Sunderland and it is an enforced one with Jason Denayer coming in for the suspended Steven Pienaar. Victor Anichebe keeps his place in the side.

17-year-old Josh Tymon makes his league debut for Hull this afternoon, slotting in at left-back. Robert Snodgrass and Dieumerci Mbokani are the other changes, coming in for Abel Hernandez and Will Keane, the latter who is ruled out for the rest of the season.

Steven Mandana is out injured today so Wayne Hennessey comes into guard the Crystal Palace net. Jams Tomkins also comes in for Damien Delaney in the only other changed made to the side that lost 3-2 to Burnley prior to the international break. Christian Benteke is supported in attack by Wilfried Zaha and Andros Townsend.

Yaya Toure makes his first start of the season for Manchester City this afternoon. Has Pep Guardiola received an apology from Dimitri Seluk, then? Skipper Vincent Kompany and Bacary Sagna also return to the City backline with Raheem Sterling also recalled. It's a full-strength line up, even with that important trip to Borussia Monchengladbach coming on Wednesday.

Sofiane Boufal comes in for his first Premier League start for Southampton this afternoon. Fraser Forster and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg are also in the starting XI having recovered from minor knocks suffered during the international break. Charlie Austin continues up front with Shane Long only fit enough to start on the bench.

There are three former Saints in the Liverpool starting XI this afternoon in Nathaniel Clyne, Dejan Lovren and Sadio Mane. Philippe Coutinho and Roberto Firmino both start after representing Brazil during the international break while Georginio Wijnaldum comes in to replace the injured Adam Lallana. Daniel Sturridge settles for a spot on the bench.

Just the two changes then to the Liverpool side that thrashed Watford 6-1 prior to the international break. Georginio Wijnaldum comes in for the injured Adam Lallana while Dejan Lovren is fit again to replace Lucas.

Southampton team to face Liverpool: Forster, Cedric, Fonte, Van Dijk, Bertrand, Romeu, Hojbjerg, Davis, Boudal, Redmond, Austin

Subs: Taylor, Yoshida, Clasie, Long, Rodriguez, Martina, Reed

BREAKING: Sofiane Boufal starts his first game for Southampton this afternoon.

Liverpool team to face Southampton: Karius, Clyne, Matip, Lovren, Milner, Henderson, Can, Wijnaldum, Coutinho, Mane, Firmino

Subs: Mignolet, Moreno, Origi, Klavan, Sturridge, Grujic, Lucas

BREAKING: Adam Lallana misses out having failed to recover from a groin injury but Philippe Coutinho starts.

While we are waiting for those line-ups, check in our Manchester United vs Arsenal live blog. It's goalless after an hour and Wayne Rooney has just come off the bench to replace Anthony Martial.

It's all good news for Southampton on the injury front. Cedric Soares will make his return having missed the club's last four league games due to a foot injury. Fraser Forster has also been passed fit after withdrawing from the England squad last week.

Pierre-Emile Højbjerg also returned from international duty earlier than planned, missing Denmark's World Cup 2018 qualifier with Czech Republic. The midfielder is expected to feature against Jurgen's Klopp's side, however.

Southampton manager Claude Puel added at his press conference on Thursday he is hopeful both Ryan Bertrand and Dusan Tadic will be fit to start, although he is holding off on making a final decision until after the club's final training session of the week.

I don't know for sure yet because I cannot see all of the players, but we will see in the training session,

"I think we can recover many players. I think it is okay for Fraser and Pierre. They have some injuries in the last week but they should be fine. "Ryan is OK and Tadic had an injury to his nose, but he spoke with the medical team already and should be fine for Saturday's game.

Philippe Coutinho is expected to feature however after travelling down south with the squad. The Brazil international returned from international duty with a slight hamstring problem but having flown down with his teammates, the problem doesn't appear to have been serious enough to rule him out.

Jurgen Klopp was unsure whether Adam Lallana would be ready for this afternoon's clash when he addressed the media on Thursday. The midfielder lasted just 27 minutes of the 2-2 draw at Wembley before being replaced by Theo Walcott, limping down the tunnel immediately after being taken off. Klopp told reporters at Melwood:

95% is good news – but with Adam we don't know yet. "We haven't done a scan until now. It will be close. I don't know. Hopefully it's not too serious, but we have to wait.

With Chelsea not in action until Sunday, Liverpool have the opportunity to extend their lead at the summit of the Premier League down at Southampton today. They might have to do it without Adam Lallana, however, who limped out of England's midweek friendly with Spain with a groin injury.

Manchester City will be hoping to take advantage of any slips ups at Crystal Palace, with Alan Pardew's side having just one of their last seven games.

Champions Leicester City suffered defeat on their own turf to West Brom prior to the international break and travel to Watford to try and remedy their own disappointing domestic form, while there is a bottom three clash between Sunderland and Hull City at the Stadium of Light.

Team news will be on its way out over the next half an hour, we'll be bringing it to you as soon as it reaches us.
