Spanish Grand Prix 2017: Where to watch practice live, preview and track facts
Red Bull Racing have promised major upgrades to their car at the Spanish Grand Prix.
The F1 juggernaut has arrived at the Circuit de Catalunya for the first European race of the 2017 season with Sebastian Vettel leading the drivers' championship by 13 points from Lewis Hamilton.
Mercedes and Ferrari have been in a class of their own in the first four races of the 2017 Formula One season, but Red Bull Racing are expected to join the party in Barcelona. The aforementioned duo have won two races apiece thus far but the Spanish Grand Prix always throws up a surprise with 10 different drivers winning the last 10 races in Barcelona.
Red Bull are expected to launch a b-spec chassis in Barcelona in an effort to close the gap with the two leading teams. All the other teams will also bring major upgrades to a circuit that is very aero dependent. The Circuit de Catalunya is a track that is very familiar to all teams as both the pre-season tests are held at this venue.
The first two practice sessions on Friday (12 May) will be highly anticipated as all teams will be keen to see what the other teams have brought. Red Bull will have the most attention on them, as they are expected to bring the biggest upgrades with many even predicting an entirely changed car from the one that races the first four Grand Prix.
