Star Wars Rebels season 2: Darth Vader recruits Seventh Sister to hunt Ahsoka Tano, Kanan and Ezra
After introducing the Darth Vader, Star Wars Rebels's season 2 will add another major villain to its fold. The Seventh Sister Inquisitor voiced by actress Sarah Michelle Gellar will be seen hunting down the Jedi when the show returns with an all new episode on Wednesday, 14 October on Disney XD.
The Buffy the Vampire Slayer actress teased about her Jedi-hunting character in a new promo video. The promo opens with Ezra spotting something, and saying, "What is that? A bounty hunter?" To which the mysterious character who is later revealed as the Seventh Sister Inquisitor, sent by Darth Vader to track down the Rebels and kill them replies, "Guess again." After a brief lightsaber fight, the Inquisitor tells Ezra, who is losing, "You and I are going to have a little talk."
Sarah Michelle Gellar in the promo said, "I play the Seventh Sister in Star Wars Rebels. I am a Inquisitor, I maybe number 7, but I am pretty much number 1."
Speaking of her character Gellar said that (her character) believes that Ahsoka is back and is trying to hunt her down as well as the rebels. "I will just kill them all," she joked. "The new villain will also have a fight scene with Kanan, as Sarah Michelle says, "She definitely plays cat and mouse game with Kanan."
After an engaging two-hour premiere episode in June, the animated series will return on 14 October with its first episode titled, The Lost Commanders. The official synopsis of the episode reads as follows:
"Ahsoka gives the Ghost crew a Tactical Droid head and tells them to go to the Cello system to find her 'mysterious ally'. When they arrive there, Kanan finds out that Ahsoka's 'allies' are clones, which he dislikes because of Order 66. Eventually, Kanan trusts them until they use Zeb to 'hunt' for Joopers, which Ezra figures out that Zeb is the bait for Joopers."
As previously reported, the first episode of Star Wars Rebels season 2 The Lost Commander, will be aired at the New York Comic-Con on 8 October.
