Stars Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens: The best Twitter reactions to the second teaser trailer

Disney and Lucasfilm released the second teaser trailer to Star Wars Episode VII – The Force Awakens yesterday and seeing Darth Vader, Han Solo and Chewbacca all appearing in the clip was almost too much for fans to bear!
From its original announcement in 2012, we're only a few months away from its release and it appears that the excitement for the next instalment has reached an all-time high.
While the first trailer released late last year, didn't really reveal all that much about the film specifically (apart from introducing the concept of a crossguard lightsaber), this new trailer shares glimpses of familiar faces; is set to Luke Skywalker's 'the force is strong in my family' speech from Episode VI: Return Of The Jedi and steps up the action... a lot.
As everyone started watching the trailer, fans took to Twitter to voice their opinions on the fresh footage. Here are just some of the extreme reactions so far:

Was utterly nonplussed by the Star Wars reboot until I saw that trailer. Now I'm just a five-year-old kid making lightsaber noises again

Director JJ Abrams, the man behind 2009's Star Trek and Lost, was on the end of a backlash when he was confirmed at the helm of the latest instalment, but the overwhelmingly positive feedback for the teasers appear as if a lot of people's minds are changing.
It wasn't just the general public that went crazy for the latest sneak peek of the franchise either.
Night At The Museum actor Thomas Lennon admitted he "wept when Chewbacca appeared" and that his son had to reassure him that everything was "gonna be okay". Orange Is The New Black actor Matt McGorry was too amazed by the trailer to say much at all, tweeting: "Dat new #StarWars trailer doe".
Other famous fans of the saga also tweeted their excitable reactions:

I just shat my pants from excitement over this. But why isn't Chewbacca's hair grey, too? Don't Wookies age? http://t.co/KuZjksikqR
