Street Fighter 5: Pro player Ryan Hart on how Capcom's latest release will impact the eSports scene
Ryan 'Prodigal Son' Hart has been playing Street Fighter and various other fighting games for over twenty years, winning hundreds of tournaments worldwide. He's also the holder of four Guinness World Records – the most recent of which saw him win 260 consecutive fights.
Who better then to talk about Street Fighter 5 and how this latest iteration of Capcom's iconic fighting series will impact the future of the competitive eSport fighting game scene, and what competitions to look out for over the next year.
Street Fighter 5 was released earlier this week (16 February) for PS4 and PC. The game has taken everything back to basics in the hope of attracting new players, and also signals the arrival of a new approach to future game content – with regular updates and DLC replacing the usual Super and Ultra follow-ups.
