Sunrisers Hyderabad vs Kolkata Knight Riders, IPL 2016: How to watch live on TV, mobile and online in the UK and abroad
Sunrisers Hyderabad host their first game on home soil when they take on Kolkata Knight Riders in the eighth match of the Indian Premier League 2016 on 16 April in Hyderabad. The Hyderabad outfit have not started the IPL 2016 well, losing their first game to Royal Challengers Bangalore by 45 runs on 12 April. What is of concern is also the spate of injuries to key players. Having lost Yuvraj Singh for two weeks even before the tournament began, the Sunrisers will now miss fast bowler Ashish Nehra for two games because of a groin injury. Kane Williamson will be out of this week's games due to a hamstring strain.
Skipper David Warner is the key player in the batting line-up, and along with Shikhar Dhawan he will be expected to do well. Despite the loss of Nehra, the presence of Bangladeshi Mustafizur Rahman and Kiwi Trent Boult adds bite to the bowling attack. For the Sunrisers to win, they will need their key players to fire.
Two-time IPL winners, The Kolkata Knight Riders, have had an inconsistent start to the tournament, winning their first game against Delhi comfortably while losing their second game to the Mumbai Indians. The batting has looked good with Gautam Gambhir, Robin Uthappa and Manish Pandey all contributing. However the middle order has been largely untested, which might hurt them.
The bowlers had an off day against Mumbai, but still pose a threat due to their variety. Sunil Narine and Morne Morkel are expected to play against the Sunrisers, which makes them an even greater threat.
