Supernatural season 10 episode 17: Promo shows Bobby's return; will Rowena help Dean in getting rid of the mark?
Dean's struggle with the mark will continue in an all new episode of Supernatural that airs on 1 April on The CW.
Episode 17 is titled The Inside Man, wherein Jim Beaver's character Bobby is likely to reprise his role.
According to the official synopsis of the episode reads as follows: "Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Castiel (Misha Collins) follow up on a lead about the Cain's curse. Also, Jensen Ackles's character and Rowena (guest star Ruth Connell) meet."
Beaver's character returns on the show, as Misha Collin's character seeks help from him in heaven.
Jared Padalecki told Variety that his character will do whatever it takes to help free the elder Winchester from Cain's curse.
"He knows his brother very well, and he knew when he saw his face after he had gotten rid of Cain, but still had the Mark. He knows his brother is too gruff and tough to admit all the time he needs help, though he has, here and there, finally broken down and said, 'Yeah, I could use a hand.' So he is going to do what he thinks is best for his brother," Jared explained.
According to the actor, his character will "keep researching behind his brother's back a little bit and calling on help from Castiel and from Charlie [Felicia Day], which is fun. He is going to try to keep moving his feet and not just ignore what he knows his brother is going through."
A new promo shows the young Winchester telling the angel about his brother's condition. Padalecki's character says in the promo, "He is getting worse."
The video also shows the return of Bobby Singer from heaven and Metatron, who seems to be begging the angel, to spare his life.
However, there could be a twist with Crowley's mother Rowena having a way to get rid of the wretched sign. She is seen telling her son: "It's just a curse it can be removed."
Although the promo suggests that the witch can help, Padalecki stated that the witch could turn out to be an even greater threat.
