Victoria, who turns 39 on Thursday, accompanied by her husband and parents, Queen Silvia and King Carl Gustaf.
Three generations of Sweden's royal family stepped out in the picturesque city of Borgholm on Thursday (14 July) in celebration of Crown Princess Victoria's 39th birthday.
The eldest child of King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia commenced the merriment by greeting a public crowd that had gathered at Solliden in Borgholm, and looked beautiful in a summery white floaty dress featuring a V-neck frilly design. She accessorised with a brown waist belt, drawing attention to her slim figure, and a pair of strappy brown leather sandals.
The first in line to the Swedish succession was accompanied by her husband of six years, Prince Daniel, Duke of Västergötland, who looked like a modern gentlemen in dapper attire comprising of a double-breasted navy blazer, sky blue shirt and tie and some chinos with black patent brogues.
It appeared that the royal couple's children, Princess Estelle, Duchess of Östergötland, 4, and four-month-old Prince Oscar of Sweden, Duke of Skåne, had colour-coordinated their outfits to their father's. Estelle looked adorable in a blue and white summer dress with white socks and sandals while her little brother made one of his first public appearances in a pale blue all-in-one.
The young family were also joined by the guests of honour, Queen Silvia and King Carl, with 72-year-old Silvia wowing in an elegant red skirt suit paired with some red and nude ballet pumps and a string of pearls.
The mother-of-three, and wife to King Carl since 1976, has enjoyed a busy week having made a speech during the opening ceremony of the CHIO 2016 on July 12. The Swedish rulers also attended the CHIO Aachen World Equestrian Festival where they beheld a magnificent parade of horses and carriages through the city centre to the market on Monday (11 July).
