The momentum is with India as they prepare to face West Indies in the second semi-final of the World T20 in Mumbai on 31 March. Virat Kohli put on a batting masterclass to guide India past Australia in a thriller in Mohali. The hosts seem to be peaking at the right moment and are backed at 1/2 by Betfair to progress to the final.
West Indies topped their group despite suffering a shock six-run defeat to Afghanistan in their last match. The 2012 World T20 champions pack plenty of explosive batting talent and need to play to their potential to beat the pre-tournament favourites.
Kohli is unsurprisingly backed at 5/2 to top score for India with the bat. Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan are even-stevens at 7/2, while skipper MS Dhoni is placed at 9/1.
Chris Gayle is set to return after being rested for the Afghanistan match and is 5/2 to top the run charts for West Indies. Andre Fletcher and Marlon Samuels are evenly-priced at 4/1.
Off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin is 3/1 to be the top wicket-taker in the match for India. Ashish Nehra is at 7/2 and Jasprit Bumrah is at 4/1.
Dwayne Bravo is backed at 3/1 to top the wickets column for West Indies.
