Taylor Swift Bad Blood: Sex shop Stockroom lends singer $13,000 worth of clothes for video
It features some of her sexiest looks to date but some may still be surprised to learn that Taylor Swift borrowed clothes from a sex shop to wear in the Bad Blood music video.
The record-breaking music video sees the 25-year-old and her elite of celebrity friends, including Karlie Kloss, Jessica Alba, Selena Gomez and Cara Delevingne, strutting around in an array of racy leather outfits.
According to the New York Post's Page Six, the ensembles were loaned from The Stockroom, an erotic boutique in Los Angeles.
The nude-coloured latex dress that the Grammy-winner wears in the video retails for $235 (£149) and is described as the "perfect symbiosis of fetish-wear and classic lingerie" on the store's website.
Shawn Gentry, director of operations at The Stockroom, told the website that Swift borrowed clothes totalling approximately $13,000 and kept $5,000 worth of the items.
The publication notes that although The Stockroom does sell sex toys and other pleasure products, Swift's rep only inquired about clothes.
Since the music video premiered at the 2015 Billboard Music Awards on 17 May, The Stockroom has enjoyed an increase in online sales and plans to make a "full run" of the clothing worn by Swift and her BFF Gomez.
Bad Blood, speculated to be written about her feud with singer Katy Perry, has earned the Shake It Off songstress yet another accolade.
Vevo has announced that the music video is its new record-holder after clocking up more than 20.1 million views within 24 hours.
US rapper Nicki Minaj previously held the title after her controversial Anaconda music video smashed records in less than a day in August 2014 with 19.6 million views.
So far, Bad Blood has notched up more than 43.4 million views.
